英汉翻译中引申法探析

The Extended Methods in English-Chinese Translation

英汉翻译中必须考虑两种语言的差异而使用引申法。从语言角度看,翻译时要按照相关的社科常识,依据上下文,从单词、词组或句子的基本含义出发,对所涉及的的单词、词组或句子进行必要的引申,选择较为恰当的汉语词、词组或句子进行表达。从语法角度看,可以把引申法分为修辞引申、逻辑引申和语用引申。这些引申法是构成翻译引申的主要内容,掌握了这些方法,就基本能够使得翻译更加得心应手。从引申与其对象的概念来看,主要是从翻译引申时的范围大小、具体与抽象以及引申层次高低三个方面来掌握。正确使用引申法会使得译文更精彩。

Using the extended translating methods in English - Chinese translation is the need of language differences between these two languages. To grasp the whole idea and true usage, there are mainly three aspects should be familiarized which are： the vocabulary, phrase and sentences extended translating methods on language unit; the rhetoric, logic and semantic extended translating methods on grammar; the range of the concepts, the shift between the abstract and concrete as well as the levels of the concepts on concept extended translating methods. In this case, translation will be more prefect and correctly.
