Folk ballad is the literary style which is composed orally, it is a kind of poesy which can be sang and recited. Accounting for people and arising from things, it reflects people＇s survival status and emotional will. The article points out that singing praise of opening and reform and attacking social abuse are the two vivid subjects of folk ballad in the new ages. It also discusses the aesthetical meaning and social significance of the new folk ballad.
