李煜《虞美人》一词及其三种英译文的经验功能分析

Analysis of Experiential Metafuction of Li Yu's Poem of "The Beautiful Lady Yu"and Three English Versions

《虞美人》是南唐后主李煜最为世人所传诵的词作,它脍炙人口,千古流传。在这首词里他直抒故国之思而引起宋太宗的杀意,使此词成为其绝命词。本文试运用韩礼德的经验功能理论,对李煜《虞美人》一词及其三种英译文进行了初步探讨。分析表明:(1)系统功能语法在分析中国古词方面的可行性;(2)用功能语言学的分析框架来分析中国古词,可以帮助我们从新的角度来理解古词及其译文。

＂The Beautiful Lady Yu＂ is one of the poems which is recited by manypeople around the world, written by Li Yu, which is much popular during the ancient time and nowadays. He expresses his love to his native country in this poem ,which is thought as a straight cause of Song Tai zong killing him, which causes this poem to become a poem written as a farewell to the world by him. The author of this article tries to utilize the experiential metafunction theory of Halliday to make a preliminary discussion about ＂The Beautiful Lady Yu＂ and its three kinds of English versions. The analysis indicated that, （ 1 ） Functional Grammar in the feasibility analysis of ancient Chinese poems ; （2） using the functional grammar to analyze the Chinese ancient poems may help us to understand the ancient words or poems and the translation from the new perspective more precisely.
