摘要
超宽带(UWB)通信系统的传输质量和抗干扰能力、降低传输的误码率是UWB系统所面临的重要问题。信道编码技术是无线通信中提高传输数据可靠性的有效方法。文中选用Turbo码,将其运用到UWB系统中来增强码字的稳健性,从理论上对Turbo译码进行了定量的时延估计,验证了Turbo信道编码在UWB系统中的适用性。并仿真比较了在高斯白噪声环境中跳时脉位调制(TH-PPM)UWB系统采用Turbo码和卷积码两种信道编码方式下的性能。结果表明,采用Turbo信道编码下的UWB通信系统具有更优的性能特征。
It is very important in ultra-wideband(UWB) system to improve transmission quality,enhance the system performance and decrease the bit error rates.Channel coding technology is an effective method to improve the transmitted data reliability in the wireless communications.A novel channel coding scheme using Turbo codes in time hopping pulse position modulation(TH-PPM) UWB system is presented.The applicability of Turbo code in UWB systems has been verified theoretically by quantitative time delay estimation of the Turbo decoder.Simulation results show that the performance of the UWB system using Turbo channel coding has a better single-link BER performance in additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channel than that using convolutional coding.
