摘要
用溶解度参数预测热致液晶共聚酯酰胺(PE)与聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)共混物的相容性采用偏光显微镜、扫描电镜研究其形态结构结果表明:PEA/PET共混物虽然在理论上是热力学相容的,但因PEA的热致液晶性,从液晶有序相变为各向同性相存在热效应,致使理论预测与实验结果产生偏差.PEA/PET共混物呈两相结构,当PEA含量少时,两相之间具有一定的相容性.共混物熔体在剪切力作用下,液晶相形成取向微纤分散在PET基体中.
The binary blends of thermotropic liquid crystalline copolyesteramide (PEA) and poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) were prepared by mechanical mixing. Their compatibility was studied by solubility parameter in theory and their morphological structure was inverstigated by cross polarizing microscope with hot-stage and SEM. The results show that the blends are thermodynmic compatible in theory, but due to the thermotropic liquid crystallinity of PEA and thermal effect from liquid crystalline phase to isotropic phase lead to a difference between theory and experiment. In fact, the PEA/PET blends are biphase and have a certain degree of compatibility at low content of PEA. When shearing force is exerted on blend melts, the liquid crystalline phase orientes in the PET matrix.
