户县农民画所创造的视觉形象和观看方式凸现了作为历史创造者的新中国农民的主体形象,这与当时的文化政治是高度契合的,是对一种崭新的社会主义文化的具象表现。在市场经济时代,户县农民画抛弃了自身的传统,流为以民俗文化为卖点的商品。户县农民画的沉浮变迁映现了时代的巨大落差。
The visual image and way of appreciation created by the painting of farmers in Hu County manifests the subjective image of farmers as history creators in new China, which highly conforms to cultural politics of that time and is the concrete manifestation of a brand-new socialist culture. In the age of market economy, the painting discards its own tradition and becomes a commodity of folk culture. The history of the painting reflects a huge drop of times.
