In pressure water supply pipeline, because of the designed hump and too rapid closing of hydraulic control slow closing check valve in the outlet, water hammer due to cavities collapsing was generated when the pump was closed. The idea to solve the water hammer, the concrete measures taken and the reconstruction effect were introduced, which has a directive and reference significance to other similar projects.
