单壁碳纳米管在场发射显示器中的应用研究 被引量:7

摘要 采用丝网印刷法将利用电弧放电法制备的单壁碳纳米管印刷在玻璃板上作为场发射显示器阴极材料,利用荧光粉阳极测试了其发光亮度,并研究其场发射性能.实验结果表明,单壁碳纳米管作为场发射显示器阴极材料具有较低的开启电场和较大的场发射电流密度,显示出良好的场发射特性.  Carbon nanotube field emission display has been regarded as one of the most promising flat panel displays due to its unique advantages.The morphology of the cathode material composed of the nanotubes will directly affect the field emission display properties.In this paper,we used single-walled carbon nanotubes synthesized by arc discharge method as the cathode material.This material was printed onto the conducting surface of the cathode plate using a screen-printing process.We studied the field emission properties of the cathode and the brightness of the green phosphor also screen printed on the anode.The display unit exhibited good field emission properties.The single-walled nanotube cathode was shown to have low turn-on voltage and high field emission current density.
