中国留学生与清末民初外语教育初探

Chinese Foreign-Educated Students and Foreign Language Education during the Period between the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republican China

清末民初,随着大批留学生回国服务,我国外语教育日臻成熟,出现了前所未有的新景象。大批学贯中西的留学生,肩负着我国外语教育的历史重任,这个特殊群体在我国外语教育中扮演了主要角色。他们成为我国外语教学与研究的主要承担者、外语教材的主要编撰者、翻译理论的主要奠基者以及外语教育思想的主要创立者,为我国外语教育做出了巨大贡献。

This paper mainly focuses on Chinese foreign-educated students＇ achievements in China＇ s foreign language education during the period between the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republican China. During this period, with a large number of foreign-educated students coming back home, China＇s foreign language education was getting stronger and stronger, and reached its peak. This special group played the leading role in China＇s foreign language education and made great contributions to the acceleration of China＇s modernizations.
