“既然我们被上帝放到了东西方交界的夹缝中,我们就得学会在夹缝中生存的艺术。”芬兰人是这么说的,而他们确实也是这么做的。中国人的饮食习惯特别注重鲜甜,芬兰的地道菜式也多有接近这一偏好;还有就是北部的拉普兰地区,那里寒冷天气的时间较长,所以其烹饪的特色就多半是味道浓郁、肥沃厚重,就像我们的京式菜系或者北方食品,这似乎就是“东西方交界”的体现吧。
Finnish people are soup lovers
"Since God placed us on the crossroads between East and West, we have to learn the art of survival." Finnish people always say so and do so at the same time. Chinese people favor fresh sweetness, while the typical local dishes of Finland also have this characteritic. The cuisine in the Lapland region of north Finland mostly features strong taste thanks to its long cold weather, which is to some extent like Beijing Cuisine or food in north China.
