Traditionally, many Library OPACs have been designed with the consideration of librarians rather than users, resulting in interfaces, which are not intuitive or attractive to users. The emergence of Library 2.0 brings a new opportunity to the change of OPAC system, which could create a more dynamic, interactive and personal is able user experience. The paper discusses the prominent characteristics of new OPAC system with web 2.0 features in the Library 2.0 environment.
