摘要
The Sopu Company in Jiangsu province intends to expand its acetic acid capacity in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province to 1.2 Mt/a by 2009. This company will construct additionally a 600 kt/a acetic unit, and the construction of this project is to be completed in 2009. Furthermore, this company plans to expand the downstream units, including doubling the ethyl acetate capacity to reach 400 kt/a by 2008, while possibly constructing a 200 kt/a VAM （vinyl acetate monomer） unit by 2009.
