摘要
通过对基于三层简化模型的长周期光纤光栅模式耦合机理的研究,提出了一种仿真长周期光纤光栅透射谱的新方法。该方法并不需要象传统的仿真那样需一一求出各损耗峰的位置和带宽,而是直接将某波长下纤芯基模与各奇次包层模式耦合的透射率作为该波长的总的透射率并据此求出整个光栅的透射谱。模拟结果与已有的实验结果进行了对比,结果吻合得相当好。与其它方法相比,该方法直观、简单,编程、调试容易,具有强的可操作性。
According to the research basing on the mode-coupling characteristic of the simplified three-Layered LPG model, we have found a new method to simulate the transmission spectra of LPG. The tranditional method requires us to study every position and spectral bandwidth of the peak loss.As in the new method, however, we multiply the core mode of certain wavelength and the transmission rate of odd mode-coupling and take the result as the transmission rate of this wavelength.Then, according to this result, we studied and found the transmission of the whole LPG.After comparing the numerical calculations and experiment results, we found that the two kind of results tally with each other very well. Comparing with other methods, the new method has powerful practicality since it is very intuitional and simple, easy to program and adjust.
