论文言文与白话文的转型

On the Transformation from Old Chinese to Modern Chinese Writings

一百多年前,在文言文向白话文转型的过程中,文字改革运动与白话文运动存在缺失,对后世的影响很大。文言文滥觞于诗,而"诗"则自始至终给予文言文以滋养,使得中国文学充满东方美。文言文与传统密不可分,给予文言文以一席之地,以使华夏传统一以贯之。

Over one hundred years ago, in rite course of the transformation from Old Chinese to Modern Chinese Writings, Chinese character reform movement and vernacular writings movement had some shortcomings, which influenced following people strongly. Old Chinese Writings came from poem, and poem gave the Old Chinese Writings nourishment from A to Z. This made Chinese literature full of Eastern beauty. Old Chinese Writings and tradition cannot be divided, and this gave Old Chinese Writings a seat in Chinese culture.
