On the Historical Experience and Lessons in Strengthening the Class Base by the CPC

在80多年的奋斗历史中,中国共产党在增强阶级基础方面曾经有过曲折的探索和成功的实践。大革命失败后,面对农民党员在数量和比重上都大大增加的形势,以毛泽东为代表的共产党人逐步探索并实践"思想建党"的原则,增强了党的阶级基础,推动了革命事业的发展;建国后的很长一段时间,由于"左"倾思想的影响,党对知识分子阶级属性的判断存在重大偏差,阻碍了党的工人阶级基础进一步巩固和发展,给我国的社会主义建设事业造成巨大的消极影响。

In the history of over 80 years struggle, CPC has had winding exploration and successful practice m strengmenlng ct^t~ basis. After the Great Revolution failure, under the situation of more and more farmer joining the party, CPC members with Mao Zedong as their representative gradually explored and practiced the principle of mind party-building, enhanced the party＇s class basis, pushed the development of revolutionary cause. After the founding of new China and for a long period, due to the ＂left＂ influence, the party＇s judgment to the intellectual＇s class nature had serious deviation, impeded the party＇s working class base to further consolidate and develop, brought huge negative influence to China＇s socialist building cause.
