A New Front End Converter for Hold-Up Time Extension

摘要 针对一次AC/DC电源系统中维持时间需求的问题,提出了一种充分利用储能电容的储能作用,扩展维持时间的前端电压变换器。在市电正常时,该电路工作在传统的功率因数校正(PFC)AC/DC模式,当市电断电时,则切换到维持时间DC/DC升压模式。推导出了维持时间模式下的维持时间与电容储能的关系。变换器结构简单,两种工作模式只需要一个控制系统。在一台2300W整流模块电源上的试验结果表明,提出的电路比传统电路能够扩展维持时间达2.5倍,证明电路是正确有效的。 For the requirement of hold-up time in ac/dc power supply,a new front converter which can makes full use of the capacitor energy to extend hold-up time is proposed.This converter operates in traditional Power Factor Correction (PFC) mode as line is normal.As line shut down,it transfers to DC/DC Boost mode in hold-up time.The relationship be-tween the hold-up time and the capacitor energy is derived in hold-up time.This converter has simple construction.One controller is common used for the two modes.A 2300W AC/DC rectifier was produced.The test waveforms show the hold-up time is extended as 2.5 times as that of traditional converter.This result verified the proposed converter is available.
