摘要
受白璧德文学创作观的影响,梁实秋的文学创作从起初的浪漫主义转向后来的古典主义,而他的古典主义文学观及批评框架,甚至某些批评方式基本也都源自白璧德,二者存在着一种理论联系。但白璧德对梁实秋的影响,并不是一套现存理论对一个空虚头脑的单向灌输,而是一种内在的精神契合。同样,新人文主义从美国移植到中国,也不是简单的时空变迁,而是一种"古今之争"的语境转换,其中蕴含着当时一批知识分子沟通中西进行文化选择的努力。
By the influence of Irving Babbitt Liang Shiqiu changed his initial romanticism to classicism standpoint. Furthermore, Liang Shiqiu's classicism literature theory, criticism frame, even certain criticism ways, also originated from Irving Babbitt, and there is a kind of theory-relation between them. But the influence to Liang Shiqiu certainly is not a kind of monodirection instillment putting a set of extant theory into a void brain, but is a kind of intrinsic spiritual conjunction. Similarly, new humanism is transplanted from USA to China, is also not a simple space and time vicissitude, but is a kind of contextual transform of "struggling between old and new", of which contains an effort of one group of intellectuals to link up China with the West in carrying on a cultural choice.
