Analyses of Application Traps of SEM

结构方程模型近几年在我国心理学、管理学应用研究领域得到越来越多的应用,但部分应用者因其对其基本原理理解不够透彻导致误用或错用这种重要统计手段。本文通过结合实证研究实例对一些常见应用错误(问题)的分析揭示结构方程模型的原理,以期帮助应用者避免应用陷阱、提高实证研究水平。

Structural Equation Model （ SEM）, an advanced statistical tool, has been widely employed by researchers in Psychology/Management field to analyze data. Due to the limited comprehension of the mechanisms of the method, researchers are likely to make mistakes when using SEM to analyze their data. The aim of the paper is to help enhance researchers＇ understanding of the statistical method by analyzing some common errors in the application. It is also believed that the paper will help improve the quality of empirical studies conducted by Chinese researchers.
