Based on the practical application of Military Information Resources Classification （MIRC） in the Digital Library of Military Theory Science of National Defense University, this paper makes a statistical analysis of MIRC in accordance with its 4 primary innovations, proves its advantages and advanced nature, points out its deficiencies and gives some suggestions for improvement.
