As for composing large groups of poems by linking a number of jueju,Fang Chengda of the Tang Dynasty was a representative.Giving up the showy style of writing,he devoted his poems to the expression of his ambition and ideal in society.His poems not only reflected the serious worries about the country's rise and fall,but widened the range of poetic topics and enriched the artistic expression,thus upgrading the aesthetic appreciation and cultural taste of this special style of literature.This explains well the fact that the poet always regarded these two works as classic and followed the same way in his later writing.
