The book Mission of the Law is one of Pound＇ s contributions to law theories. Basing on the realistic circumstance of the united state of American, as a way of controlling the society, Pound thought that the laws played a very important role especially in highly complicated modern society . Regardless of law in should and in actual, the laws carried on their sacred mission that adjust social benefits as their core task, promote social civilization, and guarantees social safety. But the real effect of law in society, we should pay more attention to and do more research because of many factors; It is also an important task of law in future.
