This paper mainly discusses characterizations of sequentially quotient and the sequentially covering π images of locally compact metric spaces in the notion of finite-directed refinement. A space X is a sequentially quotation （the sequentially covering） n image locally-compact metric spaces if and only if X has a point-star network which cs covering of finite-directed refinement made of compact sets.
