Conflict of Traditional Chinese Political Thought and Villagers' Autonomy

村民自治是我国农村基层民主形式。在村民自治中存在着中国传统政治思想与社会主义民主政治思想的矛盾。中国传统政治思想本质是伦理道德思想,他把人看作是道德的存在而非政治的存在,这必然与村民自治产生冲突。

Villagers＇ autonomy is the basic democratic mode of the countryside in our country. There exists the contradiction of traditional Chinese political thought and socialist democratic political ideology in terms of villagers＇ autonomy. The essence of traditional Chinese political thought is ethical and moral ideology, which regards people as moral entity and not as political entity entailing the conflict with villagers＇ autonomy.
