摘要
MEVVA源离子注入机对无色合成刚玉进行一定剂量的Fe离子、Ti离子注入.改变后期的不同热处理条件,获得了橙黄色和蓝色蓝宝石,通过XPS、紫外可见分光光度计对部分样品的元素价态、吸收谱进行了测试发现:Fe离子注入呈现橙黄色,是d轨道能级分裂所致;单独注入Ti离子呈现蓝色,认为是色心或金属与非金属之间电荷转移所致.
Orange yellow and blue sapphire can be obtained through implanting certain amount of Fe and Ti ion to crystolon with MEVVA source ion implanter and changing the heat treatment conditions. Through the test on the element valence state and absorption spectrum of some samples with XPS and ultraviolet visible complementa- ry filter, it is found that the color of orange yellow after Fe ion is implanted is caused by d-track level splitting, and the color of blue after Ti ion is implanted is to be caused by the charge transfer between the color centre or metal and non-metal.
