On Inheriting and. Developing to the Realistic Style of New Yuefu about the Yuefu Poems of Late Tang Dynasty

晚唐以“皮、陆”为代表的一批积极关心民瘼的乐府诗人沿着中唐新乐府诗开辟的现实主义乐府诗风道路继续前进。他们继承了新乐府现实主义诗歌的自拟新题写实事与叙事手法,并发展了乐府诗的讽喻艺术。

There was an obvious trend of inheriting and developing to the realistic style of New Yuefu about the Yuefu Poems of Late Tang Dynasty. The group of Yuefu poets who cared about people very much including Pi Ri-xiu and Lu Gui-meng continued advancing along the realistic road opened by the New Yuefu poets in Middle Tang Dynasty. They had inherited the art of writing realistically by using new tides and narrating. And they had developed the art of satirizing in Yuefu Pomes.
