梁启超是中国近代著名的思想家,他晚年在著述中对孔子的生平经历及思想渊源等方面进行了论述,并对孔子思想作了近代科学意义上的归纳与诠释。梁启超晚年的孔子研究具有承先启后的重要历史意义,他既继承了前人的研究成果,又开拓了孔子研究的新局面,因而在孔子研究史上具有特定的历史地位。
