Development of the Compling Work of General History Of Biography from the"General Records"

郑樵的《通志》在继承前人成果、经验、方法的基础上加以创新,建立了一套完整的历史编纂学体系,"自成一家言"。其特点是:一是强调了历史编纂学上的继承与创新问题;二是丰富了史书记载的内容,使纪传体史书变的更加丰富多彩;三是论证了治史必求会通的准则,使通史的内涵更为明朗;四是批判了灾祥、占候之说,提倡实学研究精神;五是总结出了一套较为完整的校雠学理论。

The ＂General Records＂ of Zheng qiao has some new ideas on the basis of the heritance of the results, the experiences, and the methods of predecessors, and a complete system of historical compiling knowledge was founded. The characters are ： （1） The problems of heritance and bringing - forth - new - idea on the historical compiling knowledge was stressed; （2） The contents recording in the historical book were enriched making the historical book of the history presented in biographies more rich and colorful; （3） The norm that it must be required gaining thorough understanding on the study of history was proved, making the connotation of the general history more clear; （4） The theory of misfortune and luck, divenation was criticized, the actual study and research spirit was advcated; （5） a relatively complete theory of collating knowledge had been summarized.
