摘要
距离象似性是认知语言学中象似性的一个重要内容,其基本含义是概念距离越小语言形式上的距离也更为接近。象似性从语法和语用等层面上对英语教学有重要的启示意义,教师应当将语言象似性的理论知识与教学实践充分结合,以达到事半功倍的教学效果。
Distance iconicity, which embodies that the more compact two concepts, the closer the linguistic forms, is an important aspect of iconicity in cognitive linguistics. The present paper discusses the implications of distance iconicity for English teaching in terms of grammar and pragmatics. Conclusions have been drawn that distance iconicity is of great value in English teaching. Hence, teachers should make good use of it in the course of teaching.
