荀子学派属性新论

New Opinion on the Attribute of Xun Zi's School

历史上,荀子的思想一直不被正统的儒家所接受,因此他儒家大师的身份也一直受到人们的质疑。特别是建国后的五十多年,在荀子的学派属性问题上,产生了儒家说、法家说、黄老说和自成一家说四种观点。然而,一向被人们忽视和误解的杂家,其实更能体现荀子的学术思想特点。

In history, Xun Zi＇s thoughts have not been accepted by orthodox Confucianists, and they also question his status as a Confucianist. Over 50 years after the founding of a new China, four different opinions have come into being as to which of the four schools Xun Zi＇s thoughts should be attributed to ： Confucianism, Legalists, the School of the Emperor Huang and Lao Tzu, and his own school. However, this paper＇s opinion that regards Xun Zi as an Eclectic, which has always been neglected and misunderstood, can actually better reveal the features of Xun Zi＇s academic thoughts.
