Clinical teaching management and base development are the critical parts of teaching affairs in medical colleges. Clinical teaching is aiming at cultivating students＇ ability to practice, to be creative, and to apply knowledge. Teaching management and teaching base development are the key to clinical teaching. Without increasingly strengthening the teaching management and base development, improvement of medical teaching would never be possible. Explorations of clinical teaching management and base development in Kunming Medical College were shared with peer professionals in this article.
