On Political Mythologies in the Sixteen-country Period

十六国时期存在大量的政治感生神话,它们大多并非少数民族自身历史文化的产物,而是少数民族统治者在民族融合背景下将不同时期的汉文化历史传说、神话故事、宗教思想等文化因素重新综合的结果。

There are lots of political mythologies in the literature of Sixteen - country period. It is found that most of these mythologies were not product of history and culture of ethnic groups, but a reorganization of historic legends, myths and religious thoughts of the Chinese culture made by the rulers of ethnic groups in the process of integration of different ethnic groups.
