摘要
针对光突发交换(OBS)网络提出了一种新的信令——区分服务混合(DSH)信令协议。它根据电路仿真业务和非实时数据业务对QoS的不同要求分别采用TAW和JET信令协议,尤其是对TAW信令做了相应改进,使之更适合于OBS网络承载电路仿真业务。利用电路仿真业务发出的“呼叫请求”,可以预先建立从源结点到目的结点的“虚通路”,并在整个呼叫持续时间内保持该“虚通路”连接。这样,对于被接受的那些呼叫,可以显著减小数据突发的端到端传送时延和丢失率。
A novel differentiated service hybrid (DSH) signaling protocol is proposed for optical burst switching (OBS) networks. It adopts tell and wait (TAW) signaling protocol and just enough time (JET) signaling protocol to deal with circuit emulation traffic and non real-time data traffic respectively according to their different QoS requirements. TAW signaling is modified to be adapted to transport of circuit emulation traffics. A call request of the circuit emulation traffic can be used to set up a virtual channel from a source to a destination before the traffic arrives, and the virtual channel can be held until the call end. In this way, small end-to-end delay and low loss probability of data bursts can be achieved for the accepted calls.
