The Powerful Instinctive Energy: The Energy of Id in Lady Chatterley’s Lover

D.H.劳伦斯(1885---1930)是20世纪英国最重要的小说家之一。他本人及其作品,特别是《查泰莱夫人的情人》引起过不少争议。作为世纪之交的作家,以弗罗伊德学说为代表的心理学对其影响很大。本文用弗罗伊德的“三重人格结构学说”对劳伦斯及其《查泰莱夫人的情人》进行精神分析法解读,从中找出劳伦斯及《查泰莱夫人的情人》经久不衰的原因。

D.H. Lawrence is one of the greatest writers of modernisu in English literature. Lawrence and his works, especially Lady Chatterley＇ s Lover, were controversial. As a writer lived in the turn of the 19＇h and 20＇h centuries, he was greatly influenced by Sigmund Freud. Using the theory of tripartite model of the mind, this paper tries to interpret psychoanalytical D. H. Lawrence and his novel Lady Chatterley＇s Lover from the psychoanalytical perspective to find out why Lawrence and his novel Lady Chatterley＇s Lover can stand the test of time.
