This paper reviews the fifty-year development on China humic acid industry based on analyzing the choice background of choosing humic acid industry and summarizing the concept, structure and function of humic acid and a series of achievements on the aspects of resource, scientific research, market and management, which builds a firm foundation for further research and exploitation ofhumic acid industry.
