In order to meet the demands that managing the landscape lighting effectively in the digital city, this essay tells how to make use of the computer technology and digital lighting technology to build a landscape lighting virtual design and control system to serve for the digital city. It describes the framework, function module ,message integration and the way to work of this kind of system; This system have the function to design ,evaluate and demonstrate the city landscape lighting in a virtual mode, it can also use the control data it produce in design process to control every single lighting system.
