高黎贡山是一个典型的多民族聚居区,百花岭村各民族村民经过充分协商和讨论自发成立的,被誉为"中国第一个农民环保组织"。在高黎贡山农民生物多样性保护协会影响下,保护区周边其它社区成立了30个各具特色的社区环保组织,对高黎贡山生物多样性保护产生了积极影响。百花岭的成功经验必将为高黎贡山保护区周边社区,乃至国内外社区研究提供参考。

The First Farmer Environmental Protection Organization in China was established spontaneously through the full consultation and discussion in Baihualing Village which is a typical multi-national community in GLG Mt. Under the influence of Gaoligong farmer biodiversity protection association, more than 30 such communities have been set up in nearby villages, which have played a positive role in GLG Mt biodiversity protection..
