摘要
目的:探讨脚间区胆碱能神经元在家猫睡眠-觉醒周期中的作用。方法:选用家猫8只,于脚间区微量注射不同剂量的阿托品,记录睡眠-觉醒周期的变化。结果:给予三种剂量的阿托品后,快眼动睡眠从对照的67.4±2.7 min 分别减少到50.9±4.6,35.6±4.3和20.2±3.8min,慢波睡眠无明显变化,而觉醒时间由对照的43.9±3.4 min 分别增加为58.8±4.5,67.0±5.0和92.1±5.7 min。结论:上述结果提示脚间区胆碱能神经元通过释放乙酰胆碱影响睡眠-觉醒周期,在 REMS 睡眠的触发和维持中起重要作用。
Objective:The effect of the cholinergic neurons in pedunculopontine area on the sleep- waking cycle in cats was studied.Methods:Eight cats were injected with three concentration atropine into the pedunculopontine area while the sleep-waking cycle was recorded.Results:After atropine administra- tion,rapid eye movement sleep(REMS)was reduced from 67.4±2.7 min to 50.9±4.6,35.6±4.3 and 20.2±3.8 min but slow wave sleep was not affeced.Waking time was increased from 43.9±3.4 min to 58.8±4.5,67.0±5.0 and 92.1±5.7 min.Conclusion:These results suggest that cholinergic neurons in pedunculopontine area exerts its effects on sleep-waking cycle vis releasing acetylcholine which plays an important role in initiating and mainaining the state of REM sleep.
