摘要
根据小波变换与分形理论在认识事物的本质上都是基于从总体向局部、从宏观向微观的自相似原理,提出一种以小波作为标尺来定义分维数的思想,将小波变换看作是用小波标尺对信号进行度量,建立一种以信号的细节分量之和作为度量参数的小波分维数。应用小波分维数对红外图像进行边缘提取,实验结果表明该方法简单有效、优于传统的几种边缘提取算子。
A new idea, taking wavelet as the staff to define fractal dimension, is proposed based on selfsimilitude of knowing essence of things from all to part, from macroscopy to microcosm, in fractal theory and wavelet transformation. Wavelet fractal dimension is defined as the sum of high-frequency values of decomposed signals. The edge of infrared image is detected through wavelet fractal dimension, the results show that this new algorithm is simple and effective to detect whole contour and detail information, and is better than other traditional operators.
