文化对商标名称的翻译具有十分重要的作用。一个成功的商标名称通常蕴含丰富的文化内涵。在对商标名称进行翻译的过程中,认清文化间的差异会使商标译名更易于被大众所接受,使商标译名真正成为连接产品和消费者之间的桥梁。
Culture plays an important role in brand name translation. A successful brand name usually carry rich meanings in cultures. In the process of translating brand names, clear understanding of cultural differences can usually help target brand names to be better accepted and bridge the gap between the product and target consumers.
