语言是交际的工具,语言又是文化的载体,它反映了一个民族的历史、地理、风土人情和社会生活的各个方面。要想牢固掌握一门外语,必须要了解、学习与其相关的文化背景知识。本文主要讨论了外语教学中文化导入的重要性,介绍了中日文化的差异。主要以谚语、惯用语等为例,分析阐述了语言和文化的关系,提出了在外语语言教学中应大力加强文化教育,培养学生的文化意识,以解决目前外语教学中存在的突出问题,全面提高学习者的语言运用能力。

Language is a tool for communication as well as a carrier for culture, which reflects the particular history, geography, customary and social life of the certain nation. So the key element for language learning is learning cultural background. After discussing and introducing the cultural differences between China and Japan, esp. on tbe proverbs and slang, the thesis concludes that language teaching weights with cultural education. Consequently, building the students＇ cultural consciousness and enhancing students＇ language application abilities could solve the outstanding in foreign language teaching.
