Niche is an important notion in ecology which manifests the independent and mutually restricted relationship. It is the consequence of dynamic balance among species or within the communities. Web publishing and traditional publishing have their own advantages respectively. They＇ re not replaceable but can be complementary and united in from, content and forms of management. The notion of niche as well as its principles is instructive for us to understand the relations between the web publishing and traditional publishing.
