The purport of the ＂Great Learning＂ is to reveal a fundamental doctrine that cultivate oneself, regulate well one＇s family ,govern well one＇s state,and bring peace to the world. It not only provides basic method of self-cultivation for the ruling class, but also provides basic law for the feudal society leaders,it has extensive and far-reaching impact on the later generations. In contemporary society,the ＂Great Learning＂ still has reasonable value,it provides useful reference to establish the correct view of life value and self-cultivation methods.
