《神曲》的现代主义元素解读

On the Modernism Elements in Divine Comedy

虽然现代主义是一个时代性很强的概念,但现代主义里的许多成份,并非是在19世纪末、20世纪初突然出现的新东西,它里边的一些元素可以说在以前的文学创作中就已露出了一些端倪。处在跨越中世纪到近代文艺复兴时期的《神曲》,可以说就是这样一部具有现代主义元素的作品,这表现在它以丑入诗,渲染生存困境,揭示异化世界;用内聚焦叙事,把梦境外化,表现内心隐秘;大量运用象征,使作品具有多重意蕴和丰富的可诠释性。

Although Modernism is a conception containing intense time feature,many elements in it are not something new that appeared in the late 19th century and 20th century suddenly.We can say that some elements in it had showed some clues in the literature created before this.And Divine Comedy, which was created across the Middle Ages to Modern Renaissance, can be regarded as the work with the modernism elements.This is manifested as follows： it puts the ugliness into poetry, exhibits the difficult survival environment and reveals the alienation world.Moreover,it uses narrative of internal focus,externalizes the dreamland ,shows the inner secret and uses symbols extensively.Thus these elements make the work own its multiple connotation and rich interpretations.
