摘要
Using KHSO4 as catalyst, cholesteryl lactate was synthesized via esterification of lactic acid and cholesterol, and cyclohexane was the best water-taken reagent among benzene, cyclohexane and toluene. The structure of cholesteryl lactate was systematically characterized with FTIR, UV, 1H NMR, and MS. DSC test showed that cholesteryl lactate had certain liquid crystal property.
