在构建社会主义和谐社会新时期,社会主义核心价值体系作为社会主义社会的主导价值观,最大限度地体现了社会的多元诉求,具有积极化解矛盾的重要功能。"无直接利益冲突"矛盾是当前社会矛盾中一个新的苗头。要化解这种矛盾,消除这个苗头,最重要的是要发挥社会主义核心价值体系的引领作用,从马克思主义指导思想、中国特色社会主义共同理想、民族精神和时代精神、社会主义荣辱观四个方面,强化社会主义核心价值体系的整合力和引领力,使民众情绪沿着理性的轨道健康发展。

In the new period of building a socialist harmonious society, as the leading values of socialist society, the socialist core value system maximumly expresses the multiple claims of society and has the functions of removing contradictions. Contradictions between government functionaries and ordinary people are a new phenomena appearing in the new period. To deal with the problem, what is most important is to fully play the guiding role of the socialist core value system in removing contradictions of this kind. We should strengthen the integration and guidance of this system in the aspects of the Marxist guiding ideology, the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characterstics, national spirit and spirit of the time, and the socialist concept of honour and disgrace in order to get the public to take a rational attitute towords contradictions.
