中国光螺属一新种记述(肺螺亚纲,柄眼目,拟阿勇蛞蝓科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS XESTA ALBERS,1850 FROM CHINA (PULMONATA,STYLOMMATOPHORA,ARIOPHANTIDAE)

在整理陕西师范大学生命科学学院许升全先生赠送的陆生贝类标本时,经鉴定发现1新种,即太白山光螺Xesta taibaishanensis sp.nov.。隶属腹足纲、肺螺亚纲、柄眼目、拟阿勇蛞蝓科、光螺属。对新种形态特征、栖息环境进行了记述,并与近似种进行了比较和讨论。

A new speices of genus Xesta is described in the present paper.The studied materials were collected by Prof.XU Sheng-Quan from Wengong Temple,Taibaishan（33°9＇N,107°7＇E）,Qinling,Shaanxi Province,China,8 May,2006.Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing,China.Xesta taibaishanensis sp.nov.（Figs.1-5）Holotype（unit：mm）,alt.10.6,diam.20.5;alt.of aperture 7.0,diam.of aperture 6.0;collected from Wengong Temple,Taibaishan（33°9＇N,107°7＇E）,Qinling,Shaanxi Province,China.Paratypes 12 specimens,including 5 young snails and 7 adult snails.alt.10.0-10.7,diam.18.5-20.8;alt.of aperture 7.0-7.5,diam.of aperture 5.6-6.5.;collected from Wengong Temple,Taibaishan（33°9＇N,107°7＇E）,Qinling,Shaanxi Province,China.Shell moderate,slightly thick,subsolid,shining,subdepressed connoid.Whorls 5,with low spiral part.Body whorl rather convex,with 5 white porcelain like ribs radiated at bottom of last whorl.Apex blunt,suture deep.Shell yellowish-brown or chestnut brown in colour,surface very rough and rather weakly striated.Aperture hoof-shaped,peristome somewhat reflexed,columellar margin reflected slightly cover the umbilicus.Jaw arcuate,yellowish-brown,with 9 ribs.Radula with 1 central tooth,5 lateral,7 marginal and 13 external marginal teeth.,This new species is obviously smaller than Xesta buccata（Heude,1882）,which has a shell alt.15mm,diam.22-27mm.The latter does not have white porcelain like rib at bottom of last whorl.Etymology.This new species is named after its type locality.
