The advent of the Internet age, it will have a huge impact on ideological and political educationwork in college.How to make full use of new technology to strengthen and improve the ideological and politicaleducation work in college,and to take effective measures to prevent the negative impact,which are themajor issues for us to study and resolve urgently.This article attempts to elaborate from following several aspects：the characteristics of the ideological and political education on network,the challenges to the traditional ideological and political education in college and the countermeasures we should adopt.
