Optimum SPWM Switching Pattern for Three Level Voltage Inverter Using Particle Swarm Optimization

摘要 最优化正弦脉冲宽度调制(sinusoidal pulse width modulation,SPWM)控制是含约束条件的非线性优化问题。该问题的核心是计算出SPWM的开关时刻,确定特定的开关切换,从而产生预期电压波形,使其基波为给定值,总谐波含量最小。该文首次将粒子群算法用于三电平正弦脉冲宽度调制开关时刻的优化。在满足一定约束下,用该方法来减小变换器的总谐波畸变率(THD),以达到消除谐波的目的。仿真研究表明,与自然采样法和遗传算法相比,该方法能更有效、更快速找到最优的SPWM开关时间。 To obtain an optimum SPWM switching pattern is a constrained non-linear programming problem. Key issue of this problem is determination of SPWM switching time which defines output waveform with adjustable amplitude of fundamental component and minimized harmonic distortion. Particle swarm optimization is firstly applied to optimize a three level voltage pulse width modulation inverter in this paper. Proposed method is used to minimize total harmonic distortion (THD) with certain constraints. Calculation results verify that the proposed method is efficient to obtain optimum SPWM switching pattern and superior to natural sampling, and genetic algorithm based SPWM switching pattern.
