Philosophical hermeneutics believes that the essence of cognizance is an interpretative process-a subject-to-subject ＂communication＂ process. This theory has brought an important influence on the ideology of modern historical comparative study between China and west. It emphasizes the comparable principles of historical comparison; also, it enriches and deepens the interpretations on comparative subjects in comparative history study between China and west. It makes the legality of historical compurgation apparent. So, her： meneutic theory has a very important realistic meaning to the research of modern comparative history study pattern.
