Zhixun: the Poetic Methodology in View of Philosophy

作为中国诗学创作的方法论,"直寻"的生成同传统的文化思想息息相关。从字源学、文化学的角度看,它包括"直"与"寻"两重意义,前者代表了自然的澄明状态,后者则体现了人为的创建努力,在魏晋玄学的影响下二者整合成一种新的诗性思维方式,将诗学的灵性与哲学的思辨融合在一起,使诗学在形象直观中获得哲学反思的深度。

As the creative methodology of the Chinese poetics, the making of Zhixun is closely bound up with the traditional culture and ideology. From the angle of the character and culture, ZhiXun includes two meanings ： Zhi stands for the state of naturalness and lucidity, and Xun embodies the contrived effort on establishment. The two opposite trend of ideas were unified to a new kind of poetic thinking-way with the effect of the metaphysics in the Peroid of Wei and Jin. It is this that made the poetic spiritualism and the philosophical eloquence well immerged, which helps poetics combine the depth of philosophical reflection.
